On Roads Less Travelled

Just north of Hattah for our first overnighter. Rob Farrington joined us and we’ll travel together tomorrow to meet up with the Bartons and the Nunns at Broken Hill.
The rest stop is very spacious and the weather is pleasant. Dreadful headwinds on the trip up but it’s died down now to a gentle breeze.
Coco’s gone feral again.
Sitting down to afternoon tea and biscuits before curry and rice for dinner tonight.

It’s around 8:45AM and we’re packed and ready to go. Coco is strapped in and we’re just waiting for the peak hour traffic to subside before setting off. Planning to overnight at Hattah North rest stop.

We’re getting ready for our next Big One around Australia.  Late in June 2014, we plan to head up through the west of New South Wales and Queensland before heading west through the Northern Territory to Western Australia.  Then through the Kimberley, down through the Pilbara to eventually wind up at Norseman where we’ll meet up with some friends then travel across the Nullabor and down to Lucindale for the Australian Caravan Club’s National Muster. We’re starting off the trip with a convoy of two vans and picking up more along the way.
