Friday - 28th SeptemberWe did the famous "SkyTrek" 4WD tour at Willow Spring Station today. Over 60 kilometres of wonderfully varying, but mostly arid country. Gorges, plains, valleys and hills with the highest point being Mt. Carnarvon at 921 metres. It took more than 6 hours to complete and much of the second half was in lo-range 4WD. It's well worth a visit if you have the right vehicle. The views were amazing. Sheep, kangaroos, emus, and the odd rabbit and goat are to be seen. Part of the trek is through the Bunkers Reserve Yellow Footed Rock-Wallaby sanctuary, unfortunately we did not spot any.
