Sunday - 8th August

We walked down to the point and watched a few fisherman.  Not much biting, apparently the winds and tides have meant the water is too low.  Should be better over the weekend. We went into the Kurumba township to buy some fresh prawns and encountered some drovers driving a mob of cattle on our way back.  In the evening we went on the “Crab & Croc” sunset cruise. We cruised along the river past the trawlers, cattle boats and zinc  barge before turning around and heading out into the gulf for the sunset.  We were presented with a bottle of wine and a souvenir glass and bowls of fresh prawns were passed around. I’m not sure if you can each too many prawns but I’m sure I came close
